CIP Basics (9:30-10AM) -
Attendees will review the basics of CIP reporting and available metrics:
• Brief History of 1010+DG Partnership
• Current Available Reports
• Selections and Metrics
• Exporting and Save+Load+Share
• Custom Table Manager
Sales & Inventory Fundamentals (10-11:30AM) -
The Sales & Inventory module will enable attendees to understand several key reports:
• Inventory Trend Report (Store, Item Sales & Inventory Insights)
• Receipt & Sales Report (Delivery Frequency, Last Shipment)
• Sales Threshold Report (Zero Scan Stores w/ Receipts or Inventory on Hand)
• Sales Scorecard (Alternative View of Data, Metrics in Rows)
Promo & Basket Analytics (12:30-1:30PM) -
Attendees will learn how to use several promotion reports:
• Affinity by Basket (Co-Purchase, Product Affinities & Total Basket Ring)
• Promotion Pricing (Quantifying Stock-Up Behavior)
• Promotion Insights (Calculating Sales, Unit, Basket and Category Spend/Basket Lift)
• Basket Segmentation (Evaluate basket metrics across various groupings)
POG Reporting (1:30-2:30 PM) -
Platinum subscribers (or other subscribers interested in learning) are invited to join the 1010data team for an additional session on POG data. Attendees will learn how to leverage a broad range of reports.
• Performance by Planogram (Stores and Items Planogrammed, Equivalized Performance)
• Planogram Sales Trend by Item Store (Granular Item Level Reporting)
Excel Add-In (2:30-3:30 PM) -
Attendees will learn how to use the 1010Data Excel Add-In to streamline workflow
• Creating and Uploading Custom Hierarchies
• Excel Add-In Reporting
CIP Q3 Releases and Updates (3:30-4:00PM) -
CIP users are invited to attend a review of reports, metrics, and features found in the most current platform updates.
Wednesday, 10/23-
Excel Add-In (9:30-10:30AM) -
The first session of the morning will review how to leverage the Excel Add-In to automate reporting, differences between the Consumer Insights Platform (CIP) and Trillion Row Spreadsheet (TRS), and common retail calculations.Review Q-Sheets, common retail functions and calculations within the Trillion Row Spreadsheet.
Ad Hoc Basics (10:30-12:00PM) -
The second morning session will review common TRS basics and functionality. This session will lead directly into TRS use cases highlighting business questions and application.
Ad Hoc Use Cases (1:00-3:30 PM)
Ad Hoc Use Cases (1:00-3:30PM) -
During the final session will review common TRS use-cases live on top of demo data within the Dollar General Environment. Attendees will follow along in building reports from scratch, and will have the opportunity to choose which use-cases they would like to review as a group.
